The same Mock Tudor house after renovation with Painswick Timberlook windows and matching beams

Timber windows look wonderful but need regular painting. Timber-look uPVC recreates the details of traditional joinery with almost no maintenance.

Timberlook flush casements

We're specialist designers for Timberlook. Its sashes sit flush in the frame, with a traditional chamfer outside and a sculpted ovolo inside. Butt-joint corners, 21mm astragal bars and concealed hood vents keep the look authentic, and an optional 55mm Radlington cill adds depth.

Roseview Ultimate Rose sash windows

For vertical sliding sashes, the Ultimate Rose has a slim 35mm meeting rail, an 81mm deep bottom rail, run-through horns and putty lines. The sashes tilt in for cleaning, and it's designed to PAS 24:2016.

Details that matter

  • Mechanical joints instead of visible welds.
  • Woodgrain foils, or any RAL colour spray finish.
  • Traditional handles such as Monkeytail and Peardrop.
  • Georgian bars, leadwork and decorative glass.

Conservation areas

These systems are designed with planning requirements in mind, but rules vary. Always check with your local planning authority before replacing windows in a conservation area or listed building.
