Our sash windows are manufactured exclusively using the Spectus Legacy and Rehau Heritage Roseview profiles — two of the most respected and proven systems in the glazing industry. These profiles are specifically designed to replicate the look of traditional timber sash windows while providing the benefits of modern uPVC engineering, offering exceptional performance, durability, and aesthetic versatility.

Both systems come with a full suite of optional extras to enhance style, functionality, and security. Options include deep bottom rails, run-through or plant-on horns, Astragal glazing bars, tilt-in sashes for easy cleaning, and decorative sash furniture in chrome, brass, black, or antique finishes.

Customers can also choose mechanical joints for a true timber look, or welded corners for a cleaner modern finish.

Traditional Sash Horns

By eliminating the lip on the sash horn edge, the redesigned sash horn can now feature a woodgrain foiled end cap that blends seamlessly with its contour.
The sash horn uses mechanical joints instead of welded ones, allowing it to form a continuous part of the sash and giving the window a more authentic, traditional appearance.
Deep Bottom Rail

Choose a deep bottom rail for a sliding sash window that closely replicates the appearance of traditional timber designs.
The fully mechanical deep bottom rail authentically reproduces the look of Victorian-era timber window sashes and pairs beautifully with run-through sash horns.
Weather Bar

The sash window features an optional ovolo-shaped weather bar — the latest addition to our heritage design range — crafted to enhance authenticity and replicate the classic appearance of traditional sash windows.
Astragal Bars

Add a bar layout to your new sash windows for enhanced character and period charm.
Astragal bars are fitted to the glass surface and paired with back-to-back spacer bars within the double-glazed unit, creating the authentic appearance of individual panes.
Slide & Tilt Facility

Both the top and bottom sashes can slide vertically to provide effective ventilation. These sash windows also include an easy-clean tilt function, allowing you to clean the exterior glass safely from inside your home.

Fully Mechanical Joints

The fully mechanical joints elevate authenticity by replacing the standard 45° uPVC welds on the sash with traditional 90° mechanical joints — replicating the construction found on classic timber windows.

Standard 45° Welded Sash

As standard, we supply a mechanically jointed outer frame paired with a 45° welded sash.

A fully welded option is available upon request. The standard welding method delivers tightly bonded corners, ensuring a seamless and durable connection.

Colour-Matched Ventilation

We offer two vent options to comply with Document F of the Building Regulations. Both vents are colour-matched to complement the aesthetics of our sash windows.

Our exclusive modular vent enables any welded sash window over 775mm wide to meet the new requirement of achieving 8000 EA airflow in a single window. If a specific equivalent area (EA) rate is required

Exceptional Thermal Efficiency

“A” Energy Rated

The frames and sashes are multichambered, using the natural insulating properties of air to prevent heat loss. All our sash windows feature a 24mm insulated double-glazed glass unit with an argon gas insert as standard, reducing heat transfer between the panes — as argon is six times denser than air.

Each unit also includes a warm-edge spacer bar made from extruded PVC, specifically designed to minimise heat transference and retain warmth within the property. Together, these energy-efficient components enable our sash windows to achieve an impressive energy rating of ‘A’ and a U-value of 1.4W/m²K as standard.

1.2 U-Value Thermal Upgrade

The impressive 1.2 U-value is achieved without the use of krypton gas or specialty glass. By integrating high-performance insulation materials into the construction, our sash windows not only meet but exceed stringent energy efficiency standards.

Lift Hook

The lift hooks are usually fitted on the inside of the bottom sash to allow for easy opening.
D-Handle

Designed to be fitted to the underside of the top sash on the outside of the window to assist with the opening and closing of the window. n goes here
Pole Eye

Primarily designed to be fitted to the top rail of the top sash. The pole eye enables use of a pole with hook (not supplied) to operate any windows that are positioned too high to operate by hand.
Locking System

Our locking system holds the sash window shut by fastening the midrails together. The locking system is available in two styles.
Sash Knob

Used to open and tilt the sashes for easy cleaning of the outside frame and glass from inside your home.
Travel Restrictors

The travel restrictors limit the opening of the top and bottom sashes to approximately 100mm. They are primarily used as a safety feature in locations where opening restrictions are needed.

Woodgrain colour options

Our sliding sash windows are available in 17 standard woodgrain colourways, including 2 dual-foil options, providing a wide range of choices to complement any home style.

Each window is finished using high-quality Renolit Exofoil, a premium material that delivers a durable, weather-resistant surface with a glossy, realistic timber effect.
